This policy explains what information City of Prompts ("we", "us") collects when you use cityofprompts.com, why we collect it and how we keep it safe.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and an encrypted (hashed) version of your password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and a Google account ID.
- Payment details: the plan you chose, the payment method, the transaction ID and the payment screenshot you upload. We do not receive or store card numbers or bank passwords.
- Security and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, the devices signed in to your account, login attempts, and which prompts you open or copy. We use this to protect accounts and content.
- Messages and community posts: anything you send through the contact form or post in the community.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account, including the device limit and suspicious-login protection.
- To verify payments and manage your membership.
- To send account emails: confirmation links, password resets, payment updates and membership reminders.
- To protect our prompt library from copying and resale (see "Content protection" in the Terms of Service).
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with services we need to run the site (web hosting, email delivery and, if you use it, Google sign-in), or when the law requires it.
Cookies
We use essential cookies only: one keeps you signed in, one remembers your device if you choose "Remember me", and small preference cookies remember your theme and currency. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep data
Account data is kept while your account exists. Security logs are kept for a limited time. Payment records are kept as required for accounting, without your other personal details once your account is deleted.
Your choices
You can update your password, sign out devices and delete your account at any time from your account page. For any other request about your data, contact us.
